From concept testing to price audits, mystery shopping to in-field product testing; Field Agent has a solution for that. As part of our wider Foodservice Insights Survey, we wanted to get a read on the impact of third-party delivery apps such as Uber and Skip in the Canadian market and the results are highlighted in the infographic below.    Overall, we see that 60% of Canadians reported using at least one third party delivery app in 2024. There is also a high level of cross-usage between the apps with 62% of third party delivery app users having used more than one app during 2024. This may indicate that restaurants hold the ultimate balance of power as Canadians seem to switch from one app to the other to get access to their favourite restaurants.   There is a tight three way race between the big three apps in terms of usage / penetration with Uber Eats coming out on top - it was used by 77% of respondents who had used third party delivery apps in 2024.   When forced to decide, Uber Eats was the most preferred app for 51% of respondents who had used third party delivery apps.   Lastly, we also discovered some significant regionality in the usage of third party delivery apps with the highest penetration being in Quebec at 70%, and the lowest in Atlantic Canada at just 46%.   If you are in the Foodservice industry and you need Operational Insights, Concept Testing or Mystery Shops - you need Field Agent.
